Last night she spotted the beatifically wrapped Shanghai Tang box Dom had dug out.
She squealed with excitement and anticipation as I told her it was for her. Then ripped the box open.

Said child, squealed with delight and proceeded to jump up and down, clutching her treasure, shouting "I like it! I liiiiiike it!!!"

The photo album faded into the background, and unable to re-focus on the gift, I admitted defeat and allowed her to clutch her prize.
For Christmas, I'm considering wrapping up bubblewrap, styrofoam and empty cardboard boxes.
