This past Sunday was mother's day (in the US) and marked my first mother's day as a mom, and naturally, my mom's first mother's day as a grandmother (or as a mimi as she has been named, grandma is what Dom's mom is called. Although, if we're honest, Dom's mom is probably called nai nai since Niamh only seems to be picking up Chinese words...). Of course, my present is late and I didn't even get to speak with my mom! Not my fault entirely, as they are somewhere in the Bahamas on a boat trip, I did call though!!
Anyway, Mimi (mom to me), if you are reading this, Happy Mother's Day to the best mom in the world, I love you so much and I hope I can be as good of a mom as you are. Niamh is so lucky to have two amazing grandmother's, not that I"m calling you a grandma, mimi.

I love commenting on this... too fun. I cant wait to see the little one so she can teach me Chinese. She's more advanced then I ever was when I was there! Si Si! Nehow! thats all i remember! haha!
