One of my favorite bloggers, Skrocki of Sun Tech, has this section on her blog called "why is this necessary". And although she is a fairly serious tech blogger, she has a great sense of humor.While surfing the web today on a wedding registry mission - I came across this on Macy's website.
In strictly Skrocki fashion, it forced me to blurt out - "Why is this necessary?!?!" at my desk. Marketed as a "3 in 1 Snuggle Wrap" it appears to be, simply put, a couch potato body bag.
I'd like to write a new campaign for 3 in 1. If granted such an exciting assignment, I think I would reposition it as this:
If you are committed to becoming a sloth and disappearing into your couch after snagging your man, then register for this couch-potato body bag - available in numerous flattering colors. Pouch for potato chips and beer holder optional.Also, what is up with that tie?? Is that the tab that you unzip the 3 in 1 with? Also, I'm not sure the model with the sultry look is communicating to the right audience. I think a dude with a mullet and a beer in hand would be more appropriate. But maybe that's just me...

Ok, maybe this means I am already a couch potato but... I want one!!! That looks great. It may not be sexy, but neither are flannies or tracky dacks or both together when it is really cold. By the way, I don't think the "tie" is actually a tie, I think it is just the zip and her sleeve but the way the picture is taken makes it look like a tie. But seriously, that looks so nice and warm, would be good for those cold nights breastfeeding as well....
